Title of the talk: Bricks without Clay - why data is important and how you can become the master and not the slave
Blurb: We all know that data is important in schools, almost as much as we know that there is an abundance of it available too. Yet data isn't always seen as a teacher's best friend. In fact, sometimes, and in some schools, it can be used more as a tool to scare than to inform and educate. Quite often it can also be difficult to know where to start and you can quickly feel overwhelmed.
However, data can actually be the best tool we have as educators. It can provide us with insights, help focus our teaching and provide evidence of impact. This session should leave you with the confidence in seeking out the right data for you and your purposes and help you to control the data available to you.
Date & time: 26th of January, 6pm (UK time)
Costs: FREE
Certificate: Every participant will be entitled to a CPD Certificate! You will also be given a great discount code to purchase Seneca Premium for your school.
